We had a large tipi wedding, and came to Julia with some pretty strange thematic ideas, and she embraced every one, turning what was already a pretty special canvas (literally!), into the most perfect space we could have hoped for. Beautiful plants, greenery and foliage to encompass a jungle feel, a ‘memory tree’ to honour and remember lost family members who couldn’t be there, beautiful signage... just a perfectly creative and generous supplier who did everything we could have asked for to make the day perfect for us.

We gave a brief on the theme we wanted over email and provided a few ideas via a Pinterest board and what she did from the limited details we supplied was amazing. Jules managed to transform a huge open hall in to a stylish, warm, and welcoming carnival themed affair. Our guests were full of compliments and the bar staff at the venue said it was the best the Grange Hall had ever looked in all the times they had catered there. “We had the pleasure of working with Jules when she styled our wedding two years ago. Right from the offset, she put us at our ease. It felt like working with a friend. She brings real enthusiasm and energy to the planning process and was very perceptive and picked up what we liked and what we were after really quickly. Jules has a real talent for guiding you in styling your event and doesn’t need you to micromanage her, as she just gets it! We shared ideas with her via Pinterest (a great idea that would never have occurred to me!) and she was able to totally run with what we envisioned but found hard to articulate. She was incredibly helpful in suggesting food and drink options that suited our taste and budget.

Despite being hugely busy and in demand, Jules was always available for a chat and responded quickly to emails etc.

When I arrived at our venue on the wedding day, the styling was better that I could have imagined! It was everything I’d dreamt of and so much more. It was absolutely beautiful, and my friends still comment on what a great day it was and how beautiful and “us” everything was; and how delicious the food and cocktails were. That’s the key thing for me: it didn’t look or feel like a generic wedding, it was bespoke and gorgeous and that’s all down to Jules.
