JUNGLE VIBES AT KIBWORTH GRAMMAR

So I’m back with the monthly blogs and throwing it right back to September 2019 when the lovely Aimee and Liam tied the knot at Kibworth Grammar School. After already postponing their big day by a year, it’s safe to say that we were all really excited about them finally being able to get married.

Aimee and Liam came to me with the vision of having a jungle themed wedding which got all of my styling sense tingling. They key with any well styled event is to think a little outside the box, especially with something that could go so easily wrong if not done properly. For me, it was all about including all things ‘jungle’ such as fresh and tropical looking plants, keeping a natural palette (with pops of exotic colours) with the decorations and incorporating little nods to the couples favourite film series, Harry Potter.

Who would have thought that Harry Potter in a jungle would work? But it bloody well did!

It was important for me to keep it classy and sophisticated so the bride and grooms own personal quirks shone through!

I was joined on this wedding by some incredible suppliers, all of which have been listed individually below… on a wedding like this one, it’s all about bringing everything (and everyone!) together to make it work for each couple’s individual style.

This couple meant a lot to me - they took a leap of faith and joined me on this crazy, new venture and were the very first booking that I took on as a solo stylist. They were the ones that got the Curious Magpie name up and running and I will forever be thankful for them for trusting me with their special day.

Thanks for reading - same time next month, bye magpies
